Parachute Packer and Camera Flyer-Skydive Mt Cook Full Time

INFLITE, a leading tourism operator in New Zealand, is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team at Skydive Mt Cook as Tandem Parachute Packer/Camera Flyer.
In this role, you will be responsible for packing tandem parachutes to a high standard/providing customers with exceptional skydive footage and providing all round exceptional customer service, and supporting ground operations when required.

Qualifications & experience

• Experienced camera flyer with proven skill in capturing tandem skydive footage.
• Experience packing Strong and Sigma Parachute Systems
• Ability to pack Strong and Sigma tandem canopies in 10 minutes or less
• This is a full time permanent role-Applicants must commit to 1 full year minimum

Tasks & responsibilities

• Packing of both Sigma and Strong tandem parachute systems to a high standard, quickly and efficiently.
• Checking all components of parachute assembly during packing procedure and looking for defects or faults.
• Reporting any packing problems or defects noticed to DZSO or Skydive Operations Manager
• Ensuring 25 jump checks are carried out in conjunction with a Tandem master on 25 Jump Sheet form.
• Documenting in the SMS On-line system
• Carry out Camera Jumps in accordance with company standards providing the best possible footage for the customer.
• Compliance with the contents of the Exposition relevant to the operation being conducted.
• Maintaining a sound knowledge of Civil Aviation Rules relating to parachute operations.
