Surf School Manager Casual

Manager wanted for Surf School right on the sand on one on New Zealand’s best beaches.

We are looking for a multi tasking superstar to operate our surf school during the the busy summer months- November-end of March.

We want someone who has done this kind of thing before, this can’t be your first rodeo. You need experience, confidence and be able to treat our business as your own as you will be working solo during quieter times. You also will be on call- but you get to live and work in one of New Zealands most beautiful surf beaches.

Daily tasks involve:

Driving vehicle and trailer to and from beach daily. You must be able to reverse a trailer.

Teaching surf lessons

Running our base, doing rentals, chatting to everyone who walks by, booking lessons, keeping the daily schedule of lessons accurate and scheduling surf instructors.

Communicating via whatsapp voice message to management with updates.

Taking payments.

Setting up the camp and packing it up solo daily.

You need to be punctual, reliable, honest, organised, able to multi task, easy to work with and flexible.

You would also need an evening job (there is lots of summer work on offer in the town) as we have quieter times outside the school holidays.
