About Us
Surfsup New Zealand has been offering kayak and stand up paddleboard (SUP) tours and Surf lessons in Whangamata since 2015. We offer activities to all levels and abilities with Whenuakura (Donut) Island being a highlight.
As a small company, we pride ourselves on the ability to provide unique, authentic and intimate experiences in the area. Our dedicated team of professionals has an abundance of experience and knowledge of the local ecology, cultural history and waterways, and we work closely with the community, Iwi, council and schools in the area.
This year we are looking to include a couple extra activities including boat tours and bike hire. With that our idea is to make sure there is something for everyone at Surfsup regardless of skill level, water knowledge and weather conditions.
