As a Zipline Guide, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering unforgettable experiences to our customers while demonstrating our commitment to Kaitiakitanga.
So, what does a day in the life of a Zipline Guide look like? Well, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of zipline tours while prioritizing client satisfaction and, above all, safety. From preparing the gear to operating the ziplines and providing informative commentary, you’ll be the hero of the adventure!
But that’s not all! As a Zipline Guide, you’ll also have the opportunity to recommend other local activities, participate in conservation duties like weed control and pest eradication, and even act as a liaison between our customers and partners. It’s not just a job; it’s a chance to make a real difference!
To excel in this role, you’ll need to be a natural leader with excellent communication skills. We want someone who can engage large groups of people and make every customer feel like a VIP. Safety is our top priority, so a proactive attitude towards risk identification is a must. Plus, your love for the environment and passion for conservation will shine through as you share the wonders of the local area with our customers.
Don’t worry if you don’t have prior experience as a Zipline Guide. We provide comprehensive training and ongoing support to ensure you’re equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in this role. And of course, a valid First Aid certification and eligibility to work in New Zealand are a must.
