Operated by New Zealand’s first private not for profit charitable conservation trust, the Royal Albatross Centre is an iconic wildlife eco-tourism operation, located at the tip of the Otago Peninsula.
We are looking for energetic Visitor Hosts / Guiding stars to join us from early October 2025 to the end of March 2026, with potential for an extension to the end of April 2026. You will be tasked with creating amazing memories for our visitors and guiding them through a unique wildlife reserve, home to the famous albatrosses, over 20 other bird species and Fort Taiaroa.
The Visitor Host role involves a variety of day to day jobs including guiding (wildlife & history tours), reception work, basic cleaning and a assortment of other tasks. On occasion you may also be tasked with assisting with hosting NZ schools for education programmes and some café work to help the team there as needed on particularly busy days. As the Royal Albatross Centre is open seven days a week, applicants must be available for weekend and public holiday work.
