Do you love the outdoors but need a work schedule that fits around the school run?

We are looking for reliable, enthusiastic outdoor lovers to join the team at Adrenalin Forest Bay of Plenty. This is a unique casual role that offers the perfect balance for parents, freelancers, or anyone seeking meaningful work during the day without committing to a standard 9-5.

About the Role: This is a casual position driven by our bookings. We are specifically looking for someone available for weekday shifts (often short shifts that fit perfectly between school drop-off and pick-up!) as well as weekend work if more hours wanted.

You don’t need to be a rock climbing pro—we provide full training. We just need your enthusiasm, reliability, and great people skills. You do need to be comfortable with heights though 😁.

• A People Person: You love encouraging others and helping them overcome challenges.
• Reliable & Flexible: You are available for casual shifts during the week and on weekends/holidays.
• Safety Conscious: You have a sharp eye for detail and safety.
• Outdoor Enthusiast: You’re happy working outside in the fresh air, not stuck behind a desk.
• Bonus: Experience with heights or climbing is great, but a positive attitude is essential!

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Greeting excited climbers and getting them kitted out in harnesses.
• Delivering safety briefings and teaching people how to use the course.
• Supervising the courses to ensure everyone is safe and having a blast.
• Assisting climbers who get stuck (using ladders or technical equipment).
• General park maintenance (gear checks, basic landscaping, and keeping the park looking sharp).

Requirements:

• Reliable transport to the park.
• Valid New Zealand work permit.
