Sales and Service Supervisor (Retail Supervisor) Full Time NEW

Our Sales and Service Supervisors play a key leadership role in our retail and front-of-house operations, ensuring every customer receives a life-changing experience while maintaining the highest standards of safety, service and professionalism.

Working within a larger operational team, you will oversee daily retail functions, coordinate sales performance and ensure compliance with all health, safety and operational standards across multiple sites.

We have 2 vacancies available for Queenstown Bungy Limited, based in Queenstown, OTAGO REGION with requirement to travel/commute for work between different Bungy sites within the region.

Permanent employment, 30 hours minimum guaranteed per week plus additional work hours may be required during busy seasonal periods.  Usual hours up to 40 per week.

Rostered to work 5 days each week (Sunday through Saturday) as we offer adrenaline rush activities & merchandise for customers 7 days a week between the hours of 8:30am to 5pm (with seasonal variance).

Pay range = NZD25.50 to NZD31 per hour (depending on your experience & skills).

Skill set required =  NZQCF level 2 certificate (or higher qualification) OR 1 year relevant work experience.

You will need to have a CURRENT FULL DRIVERS LICENSE for commute between bungy sites.

In summary, some key tasks include:

• Supervise/coordinate activities of retail sales and service crew to deliver exceptional customer service/experience.
• Lead team/monitor team/train & develop team/performance & team reviews & interview/update team tasks/resolve team grievances, discipline professionally.
• Resolve customer grievances (if any) professionally.
• Lead by example in achieving sales targets for retail products & activities.
• Manage point of sale transactions / ensure payments are processed correctly
• Monitor/enforce Health & Safety requirements.
• Ensure standard operating procedures are followed
• Oversee daily retail and booking operations.
• Ensure accurate product availability/inventory control within retail/booking systems.
