RECEPTIONIST – ZIPLINE – MAN O’ WAR VINEYARDS LTD – WAIHEKE ISLAND

Full time, Fixed Term Contract – Start Immediately!

Man O’ War’s Forest Flight Zipline operation is seeking a friendly and organized Receptionist to join our dynamic Tourism and Hospitality teams at our stunning location at Man O War Bay. As the first point of contact for our guests, the Zipline Receptionist will play a crucial role in providing an exceptional customer experience, managing inquiries, and supporting daily operations at the newly established Tourism Activity Centre.

You will be responsible for:

• Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor
• Check-in and weigh guests for their trip
• Provide information to guests about:
  • Zipline tours,
  • Safety procedures
  • Restaurant and Tasting Room bookings
  • Transport questions/options
  • Other local attractions
• Manage bookings efficiently using our different booking systems, ensuring all reservations are accurate and up to date.
• Process payments, and issue new bookings to walk-in customers
• Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person in a professional and timely manner
• Answer MOW main 0800 telephone landline and transfer calls to the relevant department/person.
• Participate in daily morning staff meetings contributing to discussion regarding the days run sheet and weather conditions and any other relevant information.
• Maintain a tidy, professional and welcoming Reception area for guests.
• Assist the Operations Manager and Lead Guide through out the day with various tasks as required.
• Communicate effectively with the guides, drivers, Hospitality staff and other Reservations and MOW staff to ensure seamless guest experiences

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN THE CANDIDATE

• Must have a current, valid New Zealand Drivers License
• Must have valid New Zealand work rights
• Previous receptionist in tourism industry highly regarded
• Must be able to work flexible hours.
• Must already reside on Waiheke Island or be prepared to relocate
