About the role

As an Adventure Cave Guide, you will be responsible for guiding visitors on thrilling underground adventures, ensuring they have an unforgettable experience that aligns with our brand promise. You will be part of a professional, cooperative team dedicated to maintaining a high standard of safety and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include the following:

• Guide clients on a variety of underground adventures
• Meet and greet all visitors, ensuring all pre and post-tour paperwork is completed
• Issue equipment and conduct relevant safety briefings
• Conduct tours in alignment with operational standards and procedures
• Undertake post-tour debriefs and ensure a high standard of customer satisfaction
• Ensure compliance with operational and training procedures and safety standards
• Communicate proactively with the operations team to ensure viable work rosters
• Actively participate in the thl and BWR site specific Health and Safety systems
• Assist in monitoring and rehabilitating specific sites subject to adverse environmental impact or needing modification for client safety

• Passion and demonstrated interest in the outdoors
• Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence
• Physical capability to move easily in caves
• A positive attitude and willingness to adapt and deliver to customers and team members
